IDEXX Laboratories Sponsors 2008 Hambletonian CE Seminar

WESTBROOK, Maine, July 7, 2008—IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDXX) is proud to announce its sponsorship of three learning opportunities at the 9th Annual Continuing Education (CE) Seminar for Equine Veterinarians during the 83^rd Hambletonian. This year’s Hambletonian, featuring one of the country’s largest equine CE seminar line-ups, will run from July 31 through August 1 and spotlights the latest medical techniques and technologies in equine veterinary medicine.

On Thursday, July 31, IDEXX will sponsor a digital radiography wet lab with Michael W. Stewart, DVM, Perfecting Your Radiographic Positioning and Technique Using Digital Radiography. The session will include use of the IDEXX EquiView® Digital Radiography System.

On Friday, August 1, David Frisbie, DVM, PhD, DACVS and Assistant Professor, Orthopedic Research Center, Colorado State University College of Veterinary and Biomedical Science, leads two CE sessions, Emerging Treatments for Musculoskeletal Disease and The Role of Stem Cells in Equine Musculoskeletal Disease. Dr. Frisbie’s current research in joint disease focuses on intra-articular therapeutics as well as new methods for cartilage repair. He will discuss new findings in the diagnosis and treatment of lameness and osteoarthritis.

During the Friday CE events, Hambletonian attendees can speak with IDEXX representatives about IDEXX’s many equine products and services.
