Jeffrey B. Carr

IDEXX Senior Vice President and General Manager, Head of Product, Global Reference Labs and IBA

Mr. Carr has been Senior Vice President and General Manager, Head of Product, Global Reference Labs and BioAnalytics since December 2024. In this role, he leads and manages IDEXX’s on-market global product portfolio, new product innovation, customer experience, and business performance. Prior to joining IDEXX, Mr. Carr served as CEO of BrainTemp, an organization he co-founded in 2013, which is bringing to market a novel patient monitoring system to enable precision medicine. He previously held leadership positions at Fresenius Medical Care, as Vice President Business Development and Vice President Global Efficiency Program, and established the company’s Genomics and Precision Medicine business. He also served as Director of the Global Blood-Borne Pathogens Strategic Business Unit at Alere, a leading point-of-care diagnostics company. Mr. Carr holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Management from the University of Maine and a graduate certificate in Strategic Management from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
