Michael Lane

IDEXX Executive Vice President and General Manager, Reference Laboratories and Information Technology

Mr. Lane has been an Executive Vice President of IDEXX since January 2020 and previously served as a Corporate Vice President from July 2015 to January 2020 and a Vice President from 2012 to July 2015. He has been the General Manager of IDEXX's Global Reference Laboratories business since November 2016, with a portfolio that currently includes the company's worldwide Information Technology function and IDEXX BioAnalytics business. Prior to becoming the General Manager of our Global Reference Laboratories business, he served as the General Manager of the company's U.S. Reference Laboratories from June 2014 to November 2016. In addition to his responsibilities for the Reference Laboratories business, from July 2015 through December 2016, Mr. Lane provided strategic direction for the company's SNAP Point-of-Care testing. In 1999, he joined the IDEXX VetLab organization, where he held various leadership positions with responsibilities in commercial marketing, product management and new product development, and served as General Manager from 2012 to 2014. Mr. Lane joined IDEXX in 1997, supporting strategic planning and business development for diagnostic laboratory services as IDEXX entered the global reference laboratory market segment. Mr. Lane holds a bachelor's degree in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
